Why we are here rather than there
Most sourcing intermediaries selling Lao product are not in Laos. They buy through Thai or Vietnamese middlemen, which is why so much Lao material reaches its destination labelled as something else. We buy at the source, in person, and the origin on the paperwork is the origin on the ground.
